Missie & visie <\/strong><\/p>\n De emigratie generatie streeft naar een samenleving waarin mensen gezien worden voor wie ze zijn, leren van elkaar en daardoor prettig samenleven. Migrantenouderen worden in de maatschappij niet altijd gezien. Toch zijn het juist deze mensen die het hebben aangedurfd alles achter zich te laten om in een ander land een nieuw bestaan op te bouwen. Voor deze mensen is het betekenisvol om hun levensverhaal te vertellen en aan een nieuwe generatie over te dragen.<\/p>\n Respect voor verschillen<\/strong><\/p>\n Kinderen staan open voor nieuwe ontmoetingen en indrukken. Op gemengde scholen hebben sommige kinderen Nederlandse voorouders, anderen hebben buitenlandse roots. Door de verhalen van migrantenouderen ontstaat meer begrip voor deze diversiteit aan achtergronden. De verhalen verbinden en vergroten het respect voor verschillen tussen mensen en generaties.<\/p>\n Onze doelen<\/strong><\/p>\n De belangrijkste doelen van De emigratie generatie zijn:<\/p>\n Voor wie is De emigratie generatie?<\/strong><\/p>\n De emigratie generatie is er voor scholen (kinderen tussen 10 en 14 jaar) en voor migrantenouderen(-organisaties). activiteiten en werving, wordt gedaan door vrijwilligers. Daar zijn we super dankbaar voor. Het is ons idee dat iedereen iets komt halen en ook brengen in De emigratie generatie. Idee\u00ebn van vrijwilligers en stagiaires zijn dan ook altijd welkom.
